Jesus Christ said unto His disciples, there in Galilee you will see me. They went there and saw Him and they worshiped Him. There Jesus released His power upon them before ascension. The power is the name of Jesus and it was giving for the benefits of every born again child of God, but it is unfortunate that a lot of Christians today do not know how to use that great power. A lot of Christians believed that the power of God was available only in the days of the prophets and Apostles, but for our days they assume that is just a Myth. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is alive and His power is still available to perform great miracles as in the days of the old in the present time through the life of men that believed in Him and knows how to use the name to perform miracles. While at the receiving end, those that also believe in Him and His power are receiving their miracle every day. The power is available for all that are born again but useful to only few that knows how to use it. Anything you have and you do not know how to use it becomes useless to you, A lot of men of God are not experiencing miracles in their congregation not because they do not believe in the name of Jesus but because they don’t know how to make use of the power (the name of Jesus) (Jn. 14:12-14).

God the father, the son and the Holy Spirit dwell in the name of Jesus, and at the mention of the name against any situation of life, the three will appear to stand for you. All the anointing and power you need in the Trinity is in the name of Jesus (Mk 9:37, Songs of Sol 1:3).

In our generation, many righteous are running to the name of the Lord and they are not safe why? It is because they don’t know how to use it. The name works only for those that accepted and confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal savior and constantly praise, thank, and bless the name of the Lord at all time. Many righteous are consumed by their enemy because, they so much believed in their righteousness and fail to praise and bless the name of the Lord. Jesus Christ is the righteousness of God and in Him we have our righteousness. Stop relying in your own righteousness for your righteous deeds are like a polluted garment before God. (Prv 8:10, Ps 140:13, Is 64:6).

Never boast of chariots or horses (strength and wisdom) in time of troubles but always run to the name of the Lord and you will be safe. Always run to the name of the Lord for whatever you need in life and you will surely receive it. But then, the first thing you need to do when you run to Him is to praise Him first as His name alone is excellent. Then you go ahead to present your request to Him (Ps 20:7,113:1-3).

Whatever you do in the name of the Lord, it will work for you but the moment you begin to depend in your riches or human connection, you will surely fail. Remember that, the only person that has the right to use the name is the one that gave his life to Christ and became a praise giant. Receive the grace to use the power appropriately to claim your divine inheritance in Jesus name. Amen!
